August 27 Man agrees to share $1 million ticket from trashI guess the "finders keepers losers weepers" defense did not win out here?!?!? Ridiculous... August 19 College Football Preseason Top 25Disgraceful...how can we finish 11-1...have one of the best turnarounds of all time...be one play away from an undefeated season and potentially playing for the National Title...and be ranked 19th in both polls to start the season? I mean, come on...Florida State, Michigan and Iowa all lost 5 games last year and are ranked ahead of us. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Top 25 Games - Penn State vs. Notre DamePenn St. at Notre Dame (9/9) Series/streak: Tied 8-8-1/Notre Dame 1 Last meeting: Notre Dame 17-16 (11/14/92) A throwback game that could pass for an episode of “I Love The ‘80’s.” For college football purists, it doesn’t get much better than this one.
It’s Joe Paterno vs. Charlie Weis, those plain white helmets vs. the shiny Golden Dome, tradition vs. tradition. It’s also a game of which we haven’t seen nearly enough (only 17 meetings all-time). The last game was 1992, just before Penn State joined the Big Ten and left behind its independent status (still enjoyed by Notre Dame, by the way). Irish QB Rick Mirer led a spirited comeback that day. This game features, arguably, the nation’s best player on offense (Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn) and defense (Penn State LB Paul Posluszny). August 10 Visit to Grandma and Grandpa Coppeler & GGDoug, Davina, Cole and Delaney came up to visit this past week, and we were all able to go up to Grandma and Grandpa Coppeler's and GG's for a visit. We had a great time, and only wish it could have lasted longer. Here are some pictures. July 23 Vacation to Myrtle BeachAfter we visited with Doug, Davina, Cole and Delaney, we headed down to South Carolina and stayed for a couple of days at Myrtle Beach. We had fun there as well, relaxing at the pool and letting Ben check out the Atlantic Ocean.
Vacation to FayettevilleWe went on a vacation in mid-July to Fayetteville, NC to see my brother, sister-in-law and their twins. We had a great time. Here are some pictures...
